We had the pleasure of designing the look of Xiaomi’s main office for Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltics in Warsaw. Several months of work, dozens of sketches, designs, consultations… and the place came to life! We punctuated large spaces of neutral white with accents of orange and complemented it with juicy, fresh greenery throughout the office.
We decided to creatively use the Xiaomi bunny in various roles and situations, done in black and white line art illustrations, to serve as a complement to the intense orange and white.
Additional elements in the form of a custom-designed wheel of fortune, a lenticular wall with portraits, or the interaction of drawn bunnies with real objects added personality and character to the interior.
The client asked for key information about the company, its history, products and philosophy to be included in the display design. In order to interest the viewer and not overwhelm them with too much information, they were integrated into the overall interior design in the form of short notes and quotes interspersed with illustrations.
In the office, we have introduced consistent signage for the meeting rooms. Each room bears the name of a Xiaomi product group or business area: Air, Mobile, Scooter, Sports, TV and Vacuum. A specific bunny illustration was also designed for each room.
